I have had a recent boyfriend and he didn't seem to care. I an kind of freaked out about this. I have asked alot of my friends if they have streach marks but they don't.

My questions are:

Why do I have bad streach marks?

Are streach marks bad?

Are steach marks ugly to guys?

Please help,

Thank you,

yeahsureyoubetcha agony auntThey will fade in time.

Most guys will never notice.

Most guys will never care.

I have stretch marks from puberty on my boobs, no one has ever mentioned it.

Do not worry. All most guys are thinking when they see you naked is “boobies” and “ I am going to have sex yeah!”

Honestly girl, boobs are boobs. Everyone has a flaw, you're definitely not overweight and it's a more common problem than you think. I know it seems like the worst thing to you, but i doubt a lot of guys would notice, they'll just be excited to see boobs. You just have to be comfortable with yourself, we are our own worst critics

BigSis agony auntHello Doniescha, here is the link to more or less the same question another young lady asked. You will see some very good answers on there.

I hope it helps you.

I too was very self conscious in the past, but feel much more confident now. Trust me, it's not a big deal as you make it out to be. You said your boyfriend didn't seem to care, so don't get yourself worked up about it.

Read the other thread and you wil see comments from guys on there, and you will be pleasantly surprised, like i was.

Take care hon. xxBigSisxx

A reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2008):

Generally, the reason you have stretch marks is your breasts have developed rather quickly. Now, let me assure you, the paler the skin, the less likely they will be noticeable. You have, in your mind, imagined these to be far, far worse than they really are. Stretch marks are a normal, natural part of being a woman and men appreciate that this is so. I would say that most men would hardly even notice and those that did would consider it 'womanly'. So Doniescha, be very assured that you most definitely would not be considered 'ugly' to guys, just normal, sexy, feminine, womanly. Don't worry!

A male reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2008):

You probably developed really fast, it happens, nothing that can be done about it. Your boobs grew faster then your skin could catch up, voila, stretchmarks. You will probably get another set when you become pregnant.

But haven't you got your answer already? Your boyfriend didn't care.

Don't let the airbrushed supermodels confuse you, most of us got imperfections on our body, it is part of who we are. When your boyfriend was looking at your boobs and you felt insecure, didn't you notice anything that was not 100% perfect with him? Acne, hairy butt, whatever? Did that turn you off?

No, we see people as a whole, not a collection of minor flaws. If we did, we would have died out ages ago.
