maverick agony auntAn excellent gift (even when you're not skint on cash) is to make her something.

I had a girlfriend who was really into books. There really wasn't anything I could get her as she had pretty much everything she wanted. So I had an idea to make here a book mark using a number of passport-sized photos from a photo booth with us two sitting in there doing crazy faces. Put it on a card with stickers of stuff she liked, laminated it and voila.

I didn't realise how good this was until a month later she was still using it in her books. From a bf/gf point of view - whenever she opens her book to escape into her little world - she would think of me. Not bad eh?

rammsteinfan agony auntDo you or your mom have any old necklaces that you no longer wear (like glass beads, plastic beads, ect) Take the necklace(s) apart and get some macrame cord that is waxed...if you can't find waxed macrame cord...just rub the plain cord back and forth over a max candle. Then string the various beads to make your friend a necklace. If you or mom don't have any old beaded necklaces, you can make your own from polymer clay that you bake in the oven. The clay comes in various colors, including cool glow-in-the-dark!!

There is also alot of craft ideas online that you could check out! I hope that this will help you out!! Hugs

Girl Pants agony auntIf both are you a real close, you should have plenty of pictures taken together. Just gather them and create a beautiful memories scrapbook. I love it when my best friend made it.

And on my best friend's birthday, i bought him a stainless steel ring with our initials engraved on it. It's pretty cheap and i got one for myself too.

A beautiful necklace or bracelet..Anything...

The gift may be cheap but your friendship is worth more than that.

She will understand that the price of the gift doesn't matter. Its the sentimental value in it.

macboy agony auntIf she is a good friend, she will understand your situation.

Buy her something she can consider sentimental, doesn't have to be expensive.
