- how turned on he is before you first touch him
- how much he fancies you
- how he's feeling (tired, etc.)
- when he decides to let himself go - he might hold back to enjoy it longer
Handjobs always seem to me to take longer, but blowjobs can also take a while, especially if you pace them. It so depends on your guy, and how he's feeling, though. Really hard to give an estimate!!!  Wondering if "birdynumnums" is right that you may be wanting it to happen fast, but some of us (men) can, and much prefer, to hold back for a good while, say 10 to 15 minutes or a bit more if the girl can handle it. Why? Because by then, the tension has built up to a crescendo and the feeling of release is tremendous. Just as women gradually build up anticipation and tension to reach greater orgasms. Quickies just don't give half the feeling.
But as the ladies say previously, it also depends on many factors such as his age and your technique. And who man who controls can let go whenever the girl begins to tire and wants the finish.

Of all the things that I have ever read about hand jobs and blow jobs, never has the length of time been an issue that anyone has been curious about.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that you haven't yet done this, weren't exactly comfortable with either, and wanted to know how long they would last in order to "get it over with" quickly (because you are head over-heels for someone who is pressuring you into doing something before you are ready). If I am right, SLOW DOWN. Never allow yourself to be rushed into doing something that you aren't comfortable with. Your Body, Your Rules! If he is into you, he'll wait until YOU are ready.
If I'm wrong, 2 to 3 minutes sounds about right!

 It depends if I want to make him last a long time or not. Sometimes I tease him for a long time, but sometimes I just go for it. On average, though, my man (25 years old) takes about 10-15 minutes.
I think guys will totally vary, depending how old they are, how new the relationship is and of course, just on their own physical differences.

 When you are doing that sort or stuff you usually start off with a handjob, then work your way down to a blowjob in the same session. Or the other way around. Some guys can hold their cumming until later until when they actually want to really cum... Its hard to answer that one sweety.. Some guys are easy and can take only 2mins to cum others can take 10-15 mins.
