Y'know, the women have given you good advice, but it also comes down to personal likes and dislikes of any given female. Especially in high school now, kids have all kinds a weird hair styles. It really depends on the type of crowd you run with and are trying to attract.

TasteofIndia agony auntHey sweetness.

Well, I take a guys hair style into consideration. I think it's important just to appear like you take care of yourself. It doesn't need to be "fashionable" - just taken care of. "birdynumnums" gave you a great message.

Maybe you should invest in a good haircut. Just go into a reputable salon and ask them what would look best.

Good luck, sweetness.

A female reader, birdynumnums Canada +, writes (25 August 2007):

birdynumnums agony auntAlways clean. Never too much hair product, it makes you look vain. Not too long or too short. No pony tails or rat tails. Something that is inkeeping with the music and style you currently like. No bright colours, unless it's a couple of streaks. Nothing that hides your eyes. Not too much facial hair or sideburns that are too extreme, and PLEASE, if you are just starting to grow facial hair, shave it. Don't assume that it looks good being unkempt. Occasionally, a bit of a light beard, but that hurts and gives a girl a face rash if you are looking for a kiss (or a dozen of them). A little tousled, not too straight a part. It depends on what kind of hair that you have as well (curly or striaght), watch the guys at your school with hair like yours and check out if how they style their hair. Last, but not least, nothing that REALLY annoys your mom. Seriously, life is too short.

That is a good question because I am very picky about that. Well you are from Britain and I am from America and I don't know how guys are in Britain but in a lot of areas in America, guys look like guidos. You know they have these ugly ass spiky crew cuttish look. I hate that. But if you look like that you are going to attract a certain type of girl. So I guess depending on what kind of girl you are looking to look good for then you can choose an appropriate hairstyle.

With your blonde hair, I would probably wear it like river phoenix in stand by me or like patrick swayze in point break (but with a little less volume), or like Keanu Reeves in Point break (that would be so sexy!). I would just let it grow out a little bit.
