Look the gardaí wont really do anything about it, in their minds you just turn off your computer and the problem is solved.
Give us some more details and we may be able to help you, but at the moment your question is too vague.

I'm sorry to hear this, save everything that you can that is sent to you and whatever info you can pull from it. Try to block them from anything that you can and change accounts on things that you can. The police should be able to use your evidence and it is relatively easy to track the ip adress.
Hope this helps and that you can make it through this tough time.

Cyberbullying. Painful and unfortunately but as long as it's only in the cyber world your choices r easy.
Over email - delete email account and get a new one, or block those who r bullying, and just don't read anything they send.
Over text message - block the number, or change ur number.
over social networking sites - block them, email the management of the site, ignore it or avoid networking sites.
hope things improve xx

Can you block the person somehow? I would make the police listen and make them do their job. You should not be being harrassed by anyone. Go back to them and tell them you are afraid for your life and you want to file a report against whomever is doing this.
