If he meant what he said, he should really re-evaluate his priorities for a dating relationship. He should be with you because of your internal, personal qualities and not because you look one way or another.

I'd say that depends, if he's dating you because he likes you, but would only go out with someone who was white, then I wouldn't say you need to be offended, though he would be/is clearly shallow-minded and intolerant. However, if the only reason he is with you is because you are white, then you should be more than offended, you should dump him and find someone who appreciates you for you,
