i wouldnt be offended as sex is best when you both tell each other what you like and dont like.Try some different positions.I love doggy or standing.whereas my b/f prefers on top so we do both. You should also try doing other stuff with him apart from sex let him get really turned on.And then stop.Do this for a couple of days and he will be gagging at the bit.=]

Do something out of the norm, do something he would never expect suprise him, diffrent position, cosplay, toys, anything to make things diffrent. Mix things up so things dont become the same.

I wouldn't be offended by him saying that. I don't know but perhaps the sex always consists of the same position or two? He obviously just wants to experiment with new things (new positions, cute lingerie, etc.). But rather than waiting to see what awkward thing he says next, why not go out and buy a kama sutra book or something? Surprise him, it'll be fun for both of you!
