A male reader, anonymous, writes (15 February 2012):

Romantic sex appeals to me a lot more than it appeals to my GF. I wish she would do more of it. She hardly ever wants to do anything but fast & hard pounding sex.

No you didn't choose the wrong men. Most of us are like that.

Like Domo said, we Are romantic until we are horny

I think that's the way our body and brain is designed. It's our instinct. We don't have much control over that. A man who makes love slowly and steadily is either a rare jewel, or not turned-on enough!

If you want a 1 hour sex, plan for 50 minutes of foreplay, and 10 minutes of intercourse . Make him enjoy foreplay as much as you do, or he will lose erection(and interest).

A male reader, T.R. United States +, writes (14 February 2012):

I enjoy both - just depends on the mood. My gf is the same way - sometimes she wants to be sensual and sometimes she wants to be naughty...

Sometimes the frequency has a bit to do with it too... Like if we haven't been together in awhile, the mood is more agressive and less sensual (from both of us, not just me)... But a couple hours later (or next morning or whatever), it's the exact opposite.

But to answer your question, yes some men enjoy the sensual side of love making (at least I do)...

A female reader, Domolovescookies United States +, writes (14 February 2012):

Domolovescookies agony auntJust throwing my two cents in : I think most men 1) cant last an hour and 2) are romantic... until they are horny... then they are just horny, and whatever kink turns them on is what theyll want

not a man tho... so I'm curious to see some answers on this as well

A male reader, Mark_25_ United Kingdom +, writes (14 February 2012):

Mark_25_ agony auntPersonally it depends on the mood, I love the close intimacy of slow sex, and that builds a much stronger bond. But on the flip side, I also like the opposite. Fortunately, my girlfriend is the exact same, we both like both, so it just comes down to what sort of mood we're in.

So in answer to your question, yes!
