The only genre of porn I enjoy is rough sex with two people involved (as opposed to threesomes/orgies/etc.) and that are more realistic (none of this screaming at the top of one's lungs business).
Oddly enough, I am very open about watching porn with my guy friends (maybe it's because they don't judge?) --- none of my girlfriends know my porn-fiend side. So to answer your question, yes, there are many girls who watch porn, but only a small proportion would actually admit it.

reader, anonymous, writes (8 April 2009): nope. i'm straight and a girl and i don't watch porn, and none of the girls i know do either (and we talk about some fairly sexual, weird and embarrassing stuff so i'm pretty sure they're not just scared to admit it). i've looked at it a few times just out of curiosity and i tend to find it sort of revolting/degrading/ridiculous in most cases and it's rarely even like real sex. more like some weird over-fetishized representation of it. just looking at some naked guy with a huge cock isn't going to make me horny. i get way more turned on just thinking about having sex with my boyfriend than i would by watching porn.

 Well I am a woman, and I dont look at porn. I have in the past, when I was about 17 but since then I dont look at it anymore, I just dont find the need to nor do I have the time!
Women are very different from men - they dont need to be watching something like porn to be aroused, women tend to fantasise about a variety of different men + scenarios rather than watch porn (in my experience anyway).
Some women will enjoy to watch porn, whereas others will never watch it. It is all down to personal preference! However I imagine if you are going around asking female friends if they watch it then of course they will say no, they wont want to be giving out personal information like that! Maybe if you ask your own girlfriend (providing you have one) then you might get a more honest answer, but dont expect friends to be that honest with you about something like this!
