Or that you are punished? Or what is the best way to explain downfall? It s easy to say, when things go well, yeah I deserved it, I worked hard for this..... But what if you have all the good intentions, and still not find what you are looking for. How can you explain that? Reply to this Question ShareOther similar questions:

When you want to produce steel , you need to burn those iron ore and removed all those impurities. You get the final product which is stronger and more lasting.
Just as if you want a stronger you , you need to go through the fire to produce a new person who can withstand any kind of hardships.
To be a stronger person , you need to face challenges in life. When you over come them , you become a better and stronger person.
If you have never been through a storm , you will never be a good sailor.
You should view hardships and downfalls in the right spiritual perspective. It is not that you are being punished or you have sinned.
God has a purpose for all of us . We do not realize it until the picture is set before us. I believe everything happens because it is the will of God.
God allows us to choose. He gave us a brain to think.
There are two standards, the worldly standards or the spiritual standards. You should not use the worldly standards to judge the spiritual standards.

I believe good and bad experiences have a positive benefit. I don't think it's a punishment as much as a learning experience. I am Christian, but I also believe we are here to learn something, to develop a stronger spirit. The bible states that we will have obsticals to overcome, some of which will seems as firey obsticals, it's not the obstical itsself that matters, it's our ability to overcome them. That I believe. A life without any challenges would be a life without an opportunity to learn and grow. I am thankful for the challenges I've been through. Without them, I wouldn't be as indepently strong as I am now.

Well some people believe the older you are in spiritual years (as in reincarntatrion ect) the less you suffer, for example if this is your souls first life then you will have a alot of s*** happen to test you the more stuff you can deal with the stronger your soul gets till you get to heaven or start all over again.
But in all honesty i think we just go through stuff to learn and be grateful of the good times, after all your life is what you make it.

We all have a purpose that is common among all. And that is to make the most out of what you are handed in life. To try to be happy, becuase as long as you are alive you will always have chance to be happy. Yeah there are always low points like when things happen that you dont deserve, i have had this happen so many times. But even in the darkness there is still light among it. I was massively hurt by my ex who was my first real girlfriend, and it was a very complicated relationship. Which i can say i wasnt ready for. I was very depressed for a long time and my self asteem while with her took a nose dive. It was non existant, i always wonderd why i deserve this, do i not deserve to be happy, and what not. I would beat the hell out of myself emotionally. I then i suddenly stopped being sad, then my self esteem went higher then it ever was before. And i realized that i didnt do anything it was her not me, and i shouldnt mourn over something that is out of my control. And that i had learned a lot from this relationship even if it messed me up emotionally for a long time. Yeah i loved her and still do but i had to move on. There are others that i would eventually feel the same for.So even out of that mess of a relationship i recieved something very good in return. There will always be times in life that make you wonder why. And that make you sad and depressed. But you are alive and you can always find something to do with the time you are given. You truly can find happiness even if everything seems against you.

Optimistic vs. Pesimistic
It is said that we all have a purpose but I suppose it comes down to your beliefs. I think it's easier for us to accept the bad things that happen from an optimistic point of view, such as "everything happens for a reason" and/or "we need to go through the bad to get to the good". Is it easy to maintain an optimistic point of view when bad things happen? Of course not, it can be very challenging sometimes.
Life is not always easy and that's why it's so precious. If everything were easy there would be no opportunity for real fulfillment. If the only thing we ever experienced were pleasure and comfort, it would be impossible for you to fully appreciate them.
Challenges enable us to give of ourselves and to make a real difference. And that's something we desire at the deepest level.
Life is not always easy, and because of that, you have the opportunity to make it truly great.
I hope this helped a little. God bless!

Depends on what you believe.
Christians believe that we are here for God's pleasure [Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.]
People who believe in reincarnation believe that we're here to learn something -- we each chose this life and these circumstances to serve as a classroom, to learn and grow. If you don't learn it, then you repeat it in the next life.
(There must be other religions that have answers, but I don't know them, lol)
In the first case, your purpose is to please God. In the second, your purpose is to learn (which personally, I believe would please God). So pick yourself up, dust yourself off, find the lesson and move on. I'm sorry for your loss, whatever it was, and hope all will be well.
God bless.
