Hi guys,

I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm a computer games development student, and I want to make a nice little game for my girlfriend to play, nothing big and complex, but I want it to be fun and entertaining as well as cute and a reminder that I love her more than anything. I've spent a while thinking up games but they're all stupid or uninteresting, so I was hoping you guys could help me with some ideas! :)

Thanks a lot!

Rob

RobL agony auntHi guys,

Wow, thanks a lot for your replies, they're actually really good :D

She is a casual gamer, she does play an MMO, but she's not in any way hardcore (I have more experience in one skill than she does for all her skills put together *blushes*), she'll play anything and everything really, she's easily amused, so there really are a world of things to choose from when you think about it :)

As for why it needs to be a game, well, it doesn't, but since I'm a computer game developer, that just seemed like a good choice of something to do :3

Thanks a lot guys :) I love all your ideas, and I might actually do them all, not just one!

Rob

PixiePie agony aunti think you should create a game where she can create her own characters and her own world that she can go through and have little interactions with characters. maybe there could be a character resembling you that gives her little messages and guidance along the way. i like what your gf likes and i would love that!!

I'm thinking maybe a virtual version of your own lives. Maybe you can recreate something you have in common, like your school or a place that you shared or maybe some activities that you both experienced.

That sounds pretty cool to me.

RobL agony auntShe enjoys photography, soccer and gaming, especially online :3

She likes things that are cute, funny, and not particularly challenging, something you can just do when you feel like it without having to spend hours on it, of course that sounds contradictory when I say she likes online gaming, but this is more things like, bejeweled and whatnot.

Is that of any help or do I need more? :3
