INCREDIBLEME01 agony auntI know popularity is a major thing in highschool, but ultimately she should follow her heart and not worry about what other people think. She could be wasting alot of good times at a time in her life that builds some of the best memories we cherish as we get older. Pus have you ever watched the shows about ugly ducklings turning into swans..lol not that is matters but he may just be a "swan" waiting to emerge. I say tell her to go for it. Life holds no guarantees either way.

Absolutley.

If the girl is popular, whomever she dates will usualy also become popular. If she likes the guy and her friends are true friends, they will be more concerned about her happiness than her social standing.

Cerberus_Raphael agony auntWhy not? If you like someone, nothing should stop you. Popularity in high school, or anywhere really, amounts to almost nothing so that is and should not be, a factor.

I hope that helps.
