Sex is just letting off horny-steam (:D) with a person you kinda fancy.
Basically. Lol.

Well saying I want to make love to you is much nicer than saying fancy a F*&^.
Normally women don't like that and men stand a better chance of getting laid by the person if we are to say "make love"
Just my opinion there.

I agree with others that it sounds better for someone to say'' lets make love ''instead of saying ''I want to have sex with you''.But I feel that if a person says that and dose not really love you they are just trying to get into your pants.

Short answer: No.
Making love is sex with a strong emotional connection - it is more about the feelings than it as about the actual act.
Anything else is just shagging.

It's a euphemism. A lot of people use the phrase to mean nothing more than "I want to have sex with you." "making love" sounds nicer than "having sex", but from meaning alone, they're equivilant.
Some people may have their own meanings to the word, but there's plenty of reasons to say 'making love' rather than 'having sex' no matter how you feel about your partner.

Sex and love get mixed up and intertwined all the time...saying "I want to make love to you" can be about a physical attraction, lust etc (and sounds a bit better than I want to *@#* you. I don;t know about your situation - but to answer your question...yes, I think someone could feel they are making love but not actually be in love with the person.
