writes:I sent my boyfriend some nude pics of me, and his mom saw them and took his phone. Now she is saying she is going to show people the pics of me. I was just wondering if there was anything i could do. Now before you judge me, i have been with my boyfriend for over a year now, and i have never sent anyone else pics. Any advice would help. But due to your advice i told his mother that if she did show anyone the pics i would take her to court and she seemed to back off. So thanks

Tell your boyfriends mother that if she does show anyone you will tell the police. Remind her that technically, she will be distributing indecent pictures of a minor if she does show anyone (and such actions are worthy of police attention)
Of course, it would be highly embarrassing for you if it did happen but I think she may just be angry and sounding off.
Get those photos destroyed as soon as possible.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 January 2010): You should explain this to your parents, and you could call the police. It is illegal for her to posses or 'show' anyone. You are underage. She could be arrested for child pornography. My guess is that she is threatening, without the intention of actually doing anything about it. She is probably trying to make sure that this never happens again.
Another option is for you to talk to her and apologize for the embarrassing episode. There is a part of your brain that helps in the decision making process that is not fully developed until a person is around 24 years old. This is a factor as well.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 January 2010): If you are the one who took them, they are your property. Also, if you're listed age is correct, her showing those pictures of you would be distributing child pornography, which is obviously illegal.
This woman sounds kind of crazy, I would be brave and let your mom know what's going on so she can help you with it. Good luck!

O, poor u! His mum is tryin to blackmail u, possibly trying to get u and ur bf to split up. Tell her she is harrasing u and if she she'l get a criminal record coz ul report her to the police. I dnt no if u still considered a minor in where you live, but if u r she will be prosecuted as a paedophile. Let her know this as she is trying to abuse you. And tell ur bf what she is doing! Keep all evidence of her blackmail, such as texts. I no this may sound hard but she is being unnecessarily hard on u. Good luck. :)
