Question - (11 January 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 11 January 2010)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So theres this boy I sit next to twice a week and I really like him. So I may have flirted a bit.His mate noticed and went around telling everyone that I like him, so I told everyone that I don't, even though I do. His mate does not believe me but the guy I like said that he did. He is so nice to me. Anyway the other day I came to class and his mate asked me again if I fancied his friend, so I said no, but then he said oh well hes going to be disappointed now, but then he said only joking(non of this was said in a sarcastic tone). So now I really don't know if he likes me back or not and also I don't know if I have blown it by saying that I don't fancy him. What do you think I should do? Do you think he likes me?

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (11 January 2010):

You now need to speak to the guy you fancy, because he will be confused. Go to him, tell him how you feel. It's not easy, but it's better than sitting there fancying him and not knowing how he feels.

It's best you tell him the truth, and let him know how you feel. Who knows, he might feel the same way.
