I'm 22, and while I eat like a horse, I just have never been able to put on any tangible weight, and have virtually little muscle and hardly any definition on my arms or legs. Like I say, I know everyone has different tastes, but in general do women find skinny guys off putting?

I love thin men, in fact I think that's the only type I would go for, thin-lean...and honestly theres a lot of thin guys out there that are good looking, most of the good looking celebrities are thin/lean anyhow...Joseph Gordon Levitt, James Dean, Johnny Depp, Cillian Murphy, Edward Furlong(at his prime),Ryan Gosling,River Phoenix,Topher Grace, Adam Brody, Adrien Brody...I honestly like thin guys better because I think that they have more confidence and looks better in clothing, plus i can breath better when I sleep next to them (Im slender myself 5'6 110lbs) but yeah, whats not to love about thin guys....theres even this famous quote going around " I like my tea like how I prefer my men to be, thin and bitter" hope that helps!

I like skinny men, especially if its because they are skinny from running a lot. Tall skinny runners are my favorite. :) lol. Im a long distance runner and Im very skinny as well (5'3 and 103 pounds). Even though I am attracted to skinny men, I dont think the looks are as important as the personality. My current boyfriend is relatively short at 5'6 and not athletic but hes sweet, I love his personality and thats why I like him. I can honestly say that I am more attracted to his personality rather than his physical attributes.
There are plenty of women out there who will like you just the way you are. I encourage you not to worry about changing yourself but being positive, confident and respectful to women you meet. Personally I like that in men, physical appearance is just icing on that cake :)

Well personally I love skinny guys, especially tall skinny guys! My last boyfriend was 6" and weighed 154 lbs (around 11 stone!) he was very skinny until we moved in together and I helped him put on a stone!
Believe me, you can put on weight. You just are eating all the wrong things! My ex was eating around 6000 calories a day to try and put on weight when I first met him and nothing would work, he could eat 2 big macs and still lose weight! But you just have to know how to eat properly, rather than having this obsession with getting more calories into you via any way possible.
Protein, protein and more protein is what you need! Eggs, chicken, any meat really. This will help build muscle. Cut out fatty food and take aways as even though you are skinny on the outside, you can still be very unhealthy inside! Try and cut out processed carbs as these have no nutritional benefits - only eat wholegrains/wholewheat foods (brown bread, brown rice, brown pasta etc). Eat bigger portions too, do this gradually and you will notice in time that you stomach will stretch so you can eat more.
But at the end of the day as long as you are happy with your body then nothing else matters! And plenty of girls like skinny guys so you have nothing to worry about!
I hope this helps!

I think I've never really been that attracted to the really muscular type... There are women out there with all sorts of different tastes. So no, I would say women are not put off by skinny men, in general.

I personally don't like skinny men. But there are always exceptions. For example, an actor or a singer that I like in spite of being skinny because of their talent and/or personality and other good looks. But I generally don't like the flesh and bone type because it kind of reminds me of myself. LOL!
I kind of like men short and built. But in general I think you should not focus on being skinny as a reason for not getting women, because typically women don't reject men because they are skinny. I don't think being a skinny man it's a big deal in the women department.

In general... no such thing! Everyone is different. You could gain weight and then some women might find you less attractive.

I used to be married to 5'8, 200lb....
I now am in love with my BF who is 6'2 and barely 160lb.
Every woman has different tastes, but I have found that I enjoy a skinny boy a lot more. Plus, I love to cook, and my BF can eat a horse and not gain a pound! So I get to feed him all the time, which makes me happy :)

I personally don't I like big guys 6 foot tall or taller and 210 to 240 and not all muscle either I like them with a little bit of a chubby tummy as long as they have good muscle structure in their arms shoulders and backs that is so hott to me. Then again I'm odd.

I'm like you except I'm a woman, LOL. I eat all the time but do not put on weight. Of course I'm really short (4-11) so naturally with my petite figure people will just assume I'm in high school or even younger when in fact I'm in my mid-20s, LOL.
I would not be put off it at all. Enjoy the high metabolism as I am because I know probably once I hit 30 or 35 - boom.

There has been two particular women recently that don't mind it, but wipe away the emotional and mental connection, I wonder about that.

Your high metabolism rate is the enby of all women!!! You eat like a horse and you still do not gain weight! As long as your diet is balanced and healthy, you should not be worried. Adrian Brody the movie star is skinny, and he obviously has no problem winning an Oscar!
My boyfriend in college was like you, then he started gaining a bit of muscle as he was heavily involved in martial arts/sports.
If your being skinny bothers you, you could ask your gym instructor to train you to develop your muscles, and your nutritionist to draw you a high protein diet.
However, it is better skinny now and only sloooowly gradually gain 20-40lbs as you grow older. It would be much healthier for your heart!
The only problem you should be worried about is when you are around dogs in a park ... they will chase you ... thinking .. bones!!! ... (as I ducked avoiding shoes being thrown at me ...I know ... it was a bad joke ... my ex in college thumped me on the back of my head when I said it to him too ... though he was still laughing when he did that)
Stay healthy!

I prefer skinnier men. I don't know why, I just always have. My boyfriend weighs less than me though and that does bother me, but that's my own issue. It's also probably because he's only about an inch and a half taller than me and I've got boobs lol.Personally, no, this does not put me off, in fact quite the opposite!
