I had a one night stand with a Very promiscuous girl, and I was being cheap I decided to Use buy the trojan thin condoms you speak of, Guess what it broke. I was paranoid for about a year thinking I could have gotten an sti/std, luckily everything came back clean. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY THESE AGAIN!

My experience had more to do with my fit not the thickness of the material. If your not a porn star dont get the wopper ones and if you are using a brand that seems tight try somthing new. I think the brand I liked was called "Kimono" I think you can still find them.
When your older and have all the kids you want and your in a happy marriage or relationship do like me and get a vasectomy (not very painful at all). Best money I ever spent. No more "rain coats" no more worries and it feels just like nature intended.

Hmmm
I don't think so. But being they are thinner than regular, I'd probably guess that means there is some slightly greater chance of breakage than regular condoms.
Making sure you put it on correctly, not having sharp fingernails when putting it on would definitely be a plus since a small tear in an ultra thin condom could be the straw that broke the camels back.
Also, perhaps not being so "enthusiastic" during sex might help. Make sure it stays properly lubed or she's properly aroused (wet) so that friction doesn't cause a breakdown in the integrity of the condom.
Of course, you could wait to have sex until you're married and would have nothing to worry about. Just a thought.
Hope this helps.

People in the past were advised that thicker latex meant less chance of breaking but actually it is using a condom incorrectly that causes it to break so the thickness of the latex is irrelevant. The "99%" affective is not quite true.If you use a condom correctly and it doesn't slip off or break (and any semen stays in the condom) then it is 100% effective. Similarly, if you use a condom incorrectly and it breaks it is obviously 0% effective. It is how you use it that judges how reliable it is, so make sure you have researched how to prevent it slipping and breaking and it will be fine, I'm sure.

While they DO indeed still work 99% of the time. That 99% of the time can only be counted if they're in good condition.Look, if your girl is into rough sex, a ultra-thin condom is not the best option. Otherwise, go for it. But remember, condom, or no condom, form of birth control or none. If you're going to have sex, be prepared for everything that will come with it.

No they are still 99% affective just like the other condoms out there. Just make sure that you have 2 back ups of pertection, like use a condom and also go on the birthcontroal pill. that way you are really pertective.
