All this time he's been showing his love with his actions which I think is a good way to prove love but when ever he says it, he has this wide variety of doing so. He has said I love you countless times but he will sometimes use "I love ya", "love ya" "I luv you" and so on. He has used "I love ya!" last night before we got off of fb and I guess I've just been kind of dwelling about it. So in your opinions, do you think that the way he says i love you are ways to say "I'm playing you?" or could they all seem to convey the same feelings.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. It sounds like he is just trying to keep things new and unique. I don't doubt that he loves you.

So hang on a minute... anything and everything can be abbreviated in text by youngsters into some sort of insane scribbledeegook one might find covering the cell walls of a mental asylum... EXCEPT the phrase: "I love you" has to be kept in its original packaging?!
You crazy kids and your rap music.

I don't think the phrasing of it is what matters necessarily. I love ya would probably bother me too though as it sounds too informal and something you would say to a friend.

I think that he is just using text talk because that is how the conversation has gone so far. In person does he say he loves you? Through text I think you might as well make it cuter and a little more fun rather than just saying "I love you" because text just doesn't send the same emotion anyway.
I doubt he is playing you, he is most likely doing this to be more creative.
