It won't happen every single time we have sex, but it does happen and its getting really depressed about it.For starters, he's 23 and I'm 20. The problem recently is after a 3 day break, we had sex 5 days straight. After that, the next two night he couldn't get it up. I just figured we had too much sex and he was just tired, but he's convinced something is wrong with him.I don't really think guys in their 20's can get ED, and I ask him if he's stressed and he says he isn't. He swears up and down its not me, its him, and I just don't like seeing him depressed about it.He doesn't have insurance so I don't think I can convince him to go to the doctor any time soon. I was just wondering if anyone had some insight on the problem, and if this seems like a serious medical issue or not

While ED can happen to anyone, what you've described sounds like exhaustion more than anything else.

ED doesn't just affect the elderly. It can happen if the man is exhausted, stressed.......oversexed. Is your boyfriend diabetic or a smoker........these 2 also increase the risk for ED.Does he have any heart problems?......if the heart is weak( either from fatigue or a medical condition)not enough blood will reach the penis and it will be hard to maintain an erection. If it's not psychological he may want to go see a doctor and rule things out.

After 5 days of straight sex, any man's penis will be exhausted. It's tiredness, and the depression he then inflicts upon himself makes it worse. If he's worried, then he needs to see a doctor. But you'll probably find it's tiredness. He may not feel tired, but his balls will be and so will his penis.
