I used to think that an age difference like that was a big deal. Now I'm married to a man 12 years my senior, and I couldn't be happier. First off, you're 19, so there aren't any laws at risk of being broken. Legally, you're an adult- albeit a new one- so considering yourself to be an adult can be pretty weird.Ontop of that, I think the first time you are in a relationship that has an age gap that big, it seems really weird. But you'll soon discover that it really isn't that big a deal, not really that big a difference, and you won't even think about it. You'll be too busy being happy, if you discover that the relationship is worth being in.

I'm 17, my ex is 23, the one before that was 26 and i was 16 and my current bf is 29 which is just slightly too old for me but you can't help who you fall for :) It's not the age that matters, but how you feel and how they are as a person

I think it's fine, as long as he treats you with respect and care and love.

In my opinion I think he's too old for you. I need someone that i can connect with and I think that much of an age difference is a little much, but that's just my opinion.
