My daughter is 11 and a half and a skinny minni! So I am not expecting her to get her periods for a year or more yet, even though a lot of her peers at school have already started theirs.
But she doesn't get discharge yet and is only just starting to get pubic hair, and hasn't started sweating either, so i expect you're not far from starting yours?
Have you got some towels at the ready in your room? I have made sure my daughter has some ready.
Welcome to the joys of femalehood hunni!

these signs show puberty but lots of factors can delay a period. Your weight, your activity level. Your almost there but its hard to say when it will happen. be prepared and bring a pad or tampon with you just in case. you never know when it will sneak up on you ^^ good luck

you are just going through puberty. you dont know exactly when you will get your period, but your body is working fine! it may come in a few years or it may come sooner. theres no way of knowing exactly when you will start your period, but i think it will be in a while. hope this helps!

If this is your first one, be prepared to discuss it with your mother/father and have a stash of pads/tampons ready for use. Carry them in your purse or bookbag so that you won't be caught off guard. You also might want to have a painkiller ready (Advil, ibuporfen) incase you get menstrual cramps.
