I've always been interested in helping people with their problems no matter what they are, I try to solve it. I'm a veritable Psychiatrist among my friends. Currently I live in Salem, OR, USA but I don't want to stay here much longer. After I get married I plan on moving to Australia because I love the accent, but more specifically the outback because it's quiet, serene, and peaceful. Plus I could probably buy some land there and build a ranch or farm. Right now I'm single and hating every second of it. I've been called kind, sweet, caring, and thoughtful by every single girl I've ever dated, which isn't many, but eventually broke up with them or them with me because they loved me, but really more as a cousin, or brother, or best friend. I don't go out with a whole lot of random girls because I'm more interested in the long term stuff. Personally I dislike long distance relationships because I have trust issues, plus I'd never get to make her feel better when she's sad in person. What's wrong with a little human contact? Well if anyone is interested in talking to me a bit more you can message me on myspace at myspace.com/ragingbull500. For those of you who don't have a myspace, then you can message me here, but I check my myspace very often so it might be better.

How do I convey to her I love her personality without being totally shot down in flames?

Q.   Recently, I came out of what I call a "loner phase" where I think I don't need affection, and don't look for it. Ironically enough, I fell in love immediatley after "waking up" so to speak, with a girl I had a crush on in middle school when I saw ...

A.   30 October 2009: Listen sweetheart, he's obviously either A) still crushing on this girl hard or B) in love with her. Now, I don't know you or anything but I'm sure you deserve every single iota of attention he has to offer, and from the looks of things you're not ... (read in full...)

Any ideas on what to do here?

Q.   During my high school years, I had a crush on a classmate. However, I was never able to bring myself to reveal those feelings to her. It was enough for me at that time that we were on friendly terms and that she didn't treat me as a loser like most ...

A.   30 October 2009: If she does confront you about it, the best thing you can be in that situation is honest. If she thinks you like her, admit to her that you do. Then ask her out. Chances are, if she is indeed so observant, she will know you're being sincere. If not, ... (read in full...)

Apparently he went off me but it seems he is still leading me on!

Q.   i liked this guy and he liked me back but neither of us knew so we didnt make a move. he apparently went off me and i still like him, i'm not sure if he likes me still or not because he is being a bit weird at the moment. he puts his arm around me ...

A.   30 October 2009: For what it's worth, you should dump him. Because if he's cheating on you, (yes, I'd consider making out with another girl cheating) and can't even tell you to your face and apologize and do everything to make it up to you, then he isn't worth the ... (read in full...)

A.   30 October 2009: Listen sweetie, what you need to do is find a guy who loves or likes you for who you are and that would do absolutely anything and I mean anything (within the full extent of the law) for you. I mean, if you meet a nice guy who you like, then be ... (read in full...)

Should I be able to discuss difficult issues with my gf without the fear of massive arguments?

A.   30 October 2009: Yeah, this is definately a problem. What I think is, if she can't even say she loves you in impersonal messages she puts out, and in fact openly admits her lack of love for you, but wants to marry you, then, and I'm sorry to tell you this, but she ... (read in full...)

A.   30 October 2009: Listen pal, if you really just have to break up with her and are afraid of getting the snot kicked out of you, then you really are in quite a situation. I think, from personal experience, what you should do is spend as much time as possible with her ... (read in full...)

Can someone console me please? Why do guys not seem to fancy me?

Q.   Hi, I'm a 16 year old girl and so far I have never been in a relationship with a guy. My (girl) friends say that I'm pretty and sometimes I believe them, sometimes I disagree. No guys have said that to me though. It does hurt a little that guys...

A.   30 October 2009: Hey listen, I think you should just be yourself, chivalry isn't quite dead but I'm convinced it dies with me. Personally, I'm attracted to shy or otherwise easily upset girls because I have the deepseated need to take care of them, make them feel ... (read in full...)
