 I wont lie, it does hurt...and does for most girls whose hymen is still intact and holding strong (and some whose aren't)! lol. But like other posters said, foreplay and relaxation play a big part in diminishing the worst of the pain, and allowing you to enjoy it with your boyfriend. Thankfully, the pain tends to go away relatively fast as you continue to have sex, so it will hurt now but the payoff will come soon. Just remember to be safe, and to keep communicating to each other to avoid some of the more awkward moments of anyone's first time.

And yes it does hurt in the beginning, but why do u want to add the stress in ur life now, enjoy high school, do u really want to worry about condomns, vd's and probably pregnancy??? Think about it, if u do do it , use condoms always, dont believe that he is not with anyone else, NEVER believe it.

To make things easier for yourself, remember to have lots of foreplay. If you don't feel 'wet' enough down there, then carry on with the foreplay. It can last for up to an hour if you really want to. I hope he loves you enough to understand to be gentle with you. If you're mature enough for sex, you're mature enough to talk about it, surely? So talk to him about it. well the question title gives the answer the fact your asking if your ready to take this step says your unsure so i think you should wait. It does hurt the girl but not for the entire experience and when you start to relax itl feel great.
