But what's upset me us that not 1 of my colleagues has bothered to txt me asking how I am. I know it sounds stupid and selfish but whenever any of my colleagues- which are also friends- we see eachother out of work are off sick I always send a txt asking how they are and I hope they feel better.I don't expect flowers or constant txts just 1 txt asking how I am. Maybe I'm exagerrating because I still feel groggy but u don't feel anyone cares about me.Thanks

Maybe you are the only one out of the groups of friendly colleagues who text the others when they are sick?

Hey, I am sorry you are feeling ill and rejected. You know, I read your add and I really felt for you, enough to write and say I do not know you but I strangely do care. HOPE YOU GET BETTER SOON.

I agree with anonymous- the people we thought cared sometimes don't always show it. You mention they are work colleagues & you see them out of work which make them your friends so a text would have been nice. I myself txts my closest colleagues if I know theyvare& unwell or write on their facebook wall but I don't bombard them.Wait & see what happens when you go back to work, I bet they will all be asking how you are & will be glad to have you back! x

As a couple of people have said it could be because they are busy or know u will be back soon. Don't take it to heart. You obviously are a caring person which isn't a bad thing at all.
Feel better soon x

To be honest, it isn't unreasonable of them not to contact you. Im presuming you had to call in sick and tell them you had flu, and so they know you're not at deaths door. Also if people are properly ill they don't usually want pestering with phone calls or texts they just want to sleep and feel better.
they are all working hard while you are off, and I'm sure they will be pleased to see you when you are back.
Some people, like yourself, are just better at being sympathetic and remembering to send texts than others. I'm sure their thoughts are with you, even if their texts aren't!
feel better soon!

If you are off, they all get extra work to do to cover for you.
It may be that you are the only one who texts... or it may be that they know it's just flu and you aren't dying, just sitting being snotty watching Jeremy Kyle.
Good Luck!! xx

Ok ask yourself if there is much important exams or something like that your work partners will be stressed about if so they probably have thought to see if your ok but are extremely busy. if theres not your friends are being selfish and lazy you r not i mean of course i'm not critisising your friends but the could shape up as friends
