writes:Theres this blond girl in my language arts class who is thin and reallly short(but not one of those dwarf people, just really short)like 4 ft, and shes pretty cute, at the time i didnt know a whole lot of people yet and so when class got out as we were walking out i caught up with her and asked her "how tall are you? im just curious"(yea...it was just an impulse),and she gave this look as if she wished i would die, and said "i dont know god!" but then a few weeks later class got out(and i know alot of people pretty well, accept her and a couple other people), and she came up beside me and like out of no were bumped into me, and had a huge grin on her face and said "i dont know you" and i said "i dont know youuu" and that was about it,we went our seprit ways, but she looked like i had tottaly made her dayMy question is, why was she so mean at first, but then so friendly all of a sudden? Well, I have to agree with TalkingHelps. First time round, she was probably upset because she mustget a lot of stick about her height. But she realized that you weren't being bad, so she was friendly later because she wanted to show you that she wanted to be friends. Talk to her again, take it slow.

She probably reacted badly because she's tired of being asked or made fun of and didn't know if that's what you were going to do. It's called self protection. Once she found out you weren't trying to make fun of her she probably let herself relax. Well, she seems to like you, girls kinda tease the guys they like, maybe if you like her you should pursue it?
