 How long it is you have been trying to get pregnant ? After one year of regular unprotected intercourse and no pregnancy, it's time to go see a doctor. It is possible ( not mandatory ) that there are fertility problems.

 Hey well firstly no it doesnt mean you're unfertile.My boy friend and I used the "pulling out" technique for a while and I never got pregnant, and WHAM 3 months after trying to conceive I fell pregnant sadly I miscarried in December 2010 but I too thought oh... does this mean I'm not fertile? but no it doesnt, until you purposely set your mind to getting pregnant you will never know x

reader, anonymous, writes (16 March 2011): Ha. That's what I thought, but after about the 200th time I got pregnant at 16. Your older than that, so you probably aren't as stupid as I was.
Anyway, you probably can get pregnant it will just take some time. Keep trying and if it still doesn't work after some time go to the doctors and look into fertility issues. :)

 There's only a 20% or so chance of pregnancy when you are at your most fertile and hit the right time of the month. Miss that time when you are most fertile (about two weeks into your cycle) and you will reduce the chances even more.
Other than that is is all up to lady fortune if you get pregnant or not. For some all it takes is unprotected sex one time, for some it takes trying over 2 years to get there.
In others cases there could be a problem conceiving. If you have tried for 6 months to a year I think is when they advice you to talk to your doctor and run tests to check if you are both fertile.
