A female Hungary age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Dear All,

I have a big-big problem with my boyfriend. He is an Indian, 24, and for 3 months we are living together in Germany.

I love him very much, he is perfect in every way for me, but I have a big problem.

Everything he is wearing smells pee. His trousers, his pants and sometimes his big polos, pulovers too. At the night when we are sleeping together I feel this smell, and its very much irritating me.

Of course I dont really want to make love, cuz still thats disgusting, and I feel I hurt him with this.

Once I asked him, if he wash his penis regulary, and he said yes (but he got hurt).

I see him taking bath everyday.

Once without asking him I washed all of his cloths, but when I ironed them I felt pee again and again.

What should I do with this? How can I change this smell? Im very much afraid what if other people feel it too and maybe that will creat a big problem for him at his workplace? And can it be a disease? Should he go and ask a doctor?

Or is this his normal smell? (that i dont want to believe)

Please if you can help me, Have anybody ever experienced the same with a guy/girl?

It creats lots of problem for our relation. I dont know how much I can live with this...

Thank you for the helps...

Dear All!!

Thanks a lot for your replying, I guess you gave me good ideas! I ll try to use another washing powder, but I ll ask him to see a doctor. Even I found a medicine which can help, its called NodorO. I hope this problem wont be a problem anymore :)

Thanks you all a lot!

rockshredder agony auntHey I am from the same culture and I know certain foods that result in this smell from the pours of your body. Does he eat "methi"? It is a vegetable that looks similar to spinach. But man its smell comes in sweat, urine everywhere. Just figure that out. And stop garlic and onion rich foods too. Don't panic. It is normal from people of India and pakistan.

Cupid Boy agony auntI'm afraid he needs to throw away all his clothes and get brand new ones.

You said he is Indian. Does he eat a lot of traditional spicy foods? If so, a change of diet might be in order.

Got this from AskMen.com:

"Eating certain foods can also affect how you smell. If a food is poignant enough, its smell can make it all the way through your body and come out from your pores. Garlic, cumin and curry are believed to have such properties. Zinc deficiency can impart B.O. because it regulates detoxification in the body; it controls how the body handles waste."

fi_the_tree agony auntHmmmm, there could be a toxin that creates the smell when he sweats, but try changing your washing powder first. Other than that, maybe ask him to go and see the doctor. Tell him that you have noticed the smell and that you are only worried about him. Reassure him that you love him and that you only want to help, because he'll probably be embarrassed. Good luck :)
