I agree with danielepew.
But also it could be that some guys may wanna be more "macho" to girls they are interested in and wont share. While girls who are friends they see as a person they can share with as there just a good friend.

The long term partner is more serious, the flirting and laughing about with people hes not interested in sexually is just that, a laugh.
Plus they have known the long term girlfriend longer. They have their fun in the bedroom.

"Normal" is a hard word to define. "Usual" is better here; and, unfortunately, it is usual. Many guys do this because they want a serious relationship, slowly paced, and sex. Either way he sees you, be careful with your feelings.
