Skin itches for lots of reasons. Try the lotions first, and a milder detergent or shower gel etc. If it carries on get a nurse or doctor to check things for you.

You are normal to have your stretch marks itch, any woman who has had a child knows they do itch sometimes. Use lotion or oil to soothe the skin. If that does not do the trick, you could see your doctor or a dermatologist for further evaluation.

I think you're perfectly normal. The skin is stretched and dry so it needs more oils. Try putting on a lotion regularly or try a natural oil and rub it into the areas that are bothering you. If it persists for a while then it never hurts to be checked out by your family doctor. Congrats on the new born! :)
