Put it this way, you met this guy and really liked him. He asked for sex, none of you had condoms on you. Then when you miss your period you know you're pregnant. My advice, always carry them!

Both of you. It doesn't matter whether you're a man or a woman. If you're having sex with someone, there's a good chance that at least one of you will have a penis; therefore the two of you will need condoms. Particularly with younger adults - and teens - they don't put enough thought into the contraception/STD situation until it's too late, and end up having dangerously unprotected sex. Ask any 17-year-old and they'll tell you that you should use a condom, but how many 17-year-olds actually have a supply? So just be ready. Carry a few with you if you feel there's a chance you might have sex with someone. Do remember, though, that condoms "age". They're affected by heat and time, so that a condom that's been in a guy's wallet for six months is going to be less reliable than a fresh one out of the box.
