Your brain.
If it isnt in the mood then neither will your body. Thats why different things work for different people. What turns you on so to speak.
For me its Asian women. Can't lay off them, can't get enough of them. Thats how I am wired. For some its animals or children or same sex partners. What combination of chemicals create your desire? Only you know.

reader, anonymous, writes (12 July 2010): It has a lot to do with one's testosterone level. I had mine tested because I felt like my libido was low. Normal for males my age is about 520. I was a 530, so normal. Very low is like 200, very high is about 900.
Maybe get tested? Other than that, stress and other life situations can lower libido temporarily.
