Definitely not a bad sign. :) If you're that concerned about it (especially if it continues) maybe you should mention it to him? He might get a little embarrassed if he's nervous or anything like that, but then you can reassure him!

I know I shouldn't laugh but your post really did bring a smile to my face. Be flattered...the guy is obviously over-enthusiastic! You could try strapping him down to the bed! There are some rare medical conditions that cause involuntary movements like you describe but honestly, this just sounds like he is very over-excited.
