Yeah, I remember that happening.

Best is to hold loosely, and to kinda let go and take her hand again. To keep air circulating. Dont clutch it like it is the last straw to a dying man. Play with the fingers a bit. If you are sitting in the movies, change and hold it with the other hand every so often...

Hope that helps

saltwater agony auntLol gloves?!

Don't be stupid lol.

It's probably nervousness. But it doesn't have to be awkward, you can always make light of it, after all you're in a relationship together.

Relax!

Gloves?!

How ridiculous would they look!?

But yeah my hands sweat a lot quickly - clammy lol. Not good, but it is probably what Boonridge said, its probably partly down to you reacting a lot because your either nervous and/or excited.

I think you should be less concerned about sweaty hands and more concerned with the great girl who's hand you get to hold every day. It just happens when people are nervous, maybe take it as a good sign, there's definetly chemical attraction.

Boonridge McPhalify agony auntmaybe dont hold hands for such a long time? or you could try talcum powder or gloves so the sweat doen't mix. i wouldn't worry about it though.

this is probably because you react alot physically to each other in excitement...

tierani417 agony auntThe main reason you two are probably sweating is because maybe you're nervous? Try to just calm yourself down and don't think about the sweat..If you both do that, it should stop. Just be yourself and realize, if she didn't want to holdhands with you or the sweat was gross..She wouldn't be doing it..

A female reader, PsyCookie United States +, writes (14 July 2008):

PsyCookie agony auntIt's very very normal, specially if the climate is hot. There's no way to stop it since it's a normal body reaction.

I think you should try other methods to hold her. Putting your arm around her is a nice, romantic move. Also, if she doesn't mind, you could always wipe your hand and make a joke about the sweatness you have.

Hope this helps!
