When a guy asks their girlfriend to get on birth control, does this mean he's thinking of something long lasting...? You know a more serious relationship? Maybe... trust, love, or just wants to feel the 'real thing'?

Moviefan agony auntcould, but it could also just mean he wants sex without having to worry about a condom or getting you pregnant. Personally i would do both just for safety, think of it like a firewall on a computer, condoms are like windows firewall they work but is easily hacked and doesn't fully protect(it breaks easy just like a condom). While the birth control is the beastly firewall you pay 20 bucks a month for.

I think when a guy asks a girlfriend to go on birth control it does not neccessarily mean the relationship will be long lasting. Usually I think it means he does not want to get her pregnant.
