michelleAKAmandi agony auntThere are feminine wipes you can use throughout the day. Shower twice a day while you're on your period. Change whatever sanitary item you use OFTEN throughout every day. There are also some feminine sprays you can use, however; I don't suggest the perfumed ones. Use the ones that help absorb odors. Also, I've heard one of my friends boyfriends say that his girlfriend can't use certain soaps during her cycle because it makes her have a unpleasant odor and she's just fresh out of the shower, so you may want to change your soap to one with no perfumes as well.

Good luck,

Michelle

birdynumnums agony aunt If you shower everyday, a little soap and water on the outside should be all it takes. Most of us do have a slightly stronger odour at that time, but it's nothing that is objectional, it's just a normal female body odour. I would stay away from anything that has has perfumes or unnatural chemicals, they can upset the natural bacterial balance and that's when you wind up with yeast infections.
