"True beauty" is inside and out...
But, it's one of those esoteric words whose definition lies in the individual. Everyone would have a different take on what "true beauty" is if you asked them.
Either way, it is a huge compliment and I would feel very lucky and flattered.

Hm, it depends what you meant- visual beauty or inside beauty? These are two different things.
I connect beauty with pure things- like pure heart and soul. Or maybe the beauty is human as itself- true person, not pretending to be someone he/she is not.
Visual beauty is probably natural beauty. Probably he or she meant that. The meaning of beauty is for every person different. Maybe you can help with google and find few deffinitions of it. But i assume you still have time to ask this person what he/she meant, don't you? So i suggest you to do that!
