To me, personally....
One rose says, "I'm simply in love with you."
a dozen say, "LOOK HOW MUCH I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!"
Both are nice. Both are lovely. Both can mean just as much.
That's what I see!

A single rose is less petal mess to clear up!Seriously, Single Red Rose: "I love you," or "I love you still" (but I'm not going to go broke telling you, cos you probably know already.) - it's simplicity. A single red rose in a bud vase came to the office today (it was bought by one of the guys for his gf, and all the lasses in the office was cooing over it!).12 Roses: Gratitude. Any bouquet in full bloom implies the “full flowering” of the emotion being conveyed: a bouquet of red roses in full bloom implies the full flowering of love.
