As people raising our children in foreign countries the US embassies email us monthly and keep us informed on various issues; they supplied this website (among many others) so why don't you read it and learn?

These should tell you everything you need to know.
If you are under 16, ANY sexual act is illegal. This includes, fingering, handjobs, oral, blow jobs, full vaginal sex, or anal sex.
If this happens with a person over the age of 16, it is classed as RAPE. You cannot consent. They can be charged and depending on the crime/age of the other person, could be made to sign the sex offenders register.
Paedophillia is something very different - adults preying on young children up to the age of 16. This can include sexual assault, indecent assult, rape, child abuse, grooming, as well as child pornography. REMEMBER - any indecent/sexual image you take of yourself, if you are underage could be considered child porn. If sent to other people, you would actually be committing a crime. DO NOT do this.

Soon567: firstly, the poster's country is the United Kingdom, not USA.
Secondly, everywhere I indicated the USA, I clearly said "some US states". If you google "age of consent USA Wikipedia" there is clear information about this. Plus the US government website www.4parents.gov supports the Wikipedia information about the fact that age differences between the respondents is taken into account (some states 2 years difference, some 5 years; average =3 years). But most importantly, the poster is British not American. Thanks

Big mean men in prisons don't treat men who have sex with kids very nice at all... he best know what he's going go get...

1. If you have sex when you are both under the age of 16 its a misdemeanor.
2. If you are under 16 and you have sex with someone NOT more than 3years and one day older than you, then its a misedemeanor in some countries and some US states but a lesser charge of statutory rape in a few US states. Eg. If you are 14 and have sex with a 17 year old (who is legal), they won't get jail time because they are 3 years or less older, but can be charged and receive a suspended sentence or roughly one year in jail in a few states.
3. If you are between 12 and 16 and you have "consensual" sex with a person more than 3 years and one day older then the older person can be charged with statutory rape and has to be on the sex offenders registry for 5 years and may also go to jail for roughly up to 3 to 5 years.
4. If you have sex with a person under 12 and you are more than 3 years older than them then you are a Pedophile and can go to jail for a minimum 5 to 20 years (depending on the severity of the crime) and be a registered sex offender for life. For example, if a 12 year old has sex with a 14 year old its a misdemeanor, but if the same 12 year old has sex with a 16 year old then that 16 year old is a pedophile and can go to jail. The younger the offender, the shorter the sentence and depending on other factors as well.

 No it's not considered pedophilia. You are only a pedophiliac if you are older than 18 and HAVE sex with someone under the age of 18. Most countries have different laws, some say age of consent is 17 others 18; I’m not sure what it is in UK. But thinking about having sex with someone your age or someone older is just fantasizing, so don’t feel bad or guilty about it. It’s natural to fantasize and/or have crushes on older people. Now, if a 20 year old person or older were to have sex with you, then they are a child molester. Fantasize and imagine it as much as you want, but I wouldn’t act on it. Be safe and keep on imagining, it’s always so much fun do so!

 The first one is legal and fine so long as you're both 16 or older (18 in some states). The second is statutory rape, consensual or not. Totally illegal. Not a pedophile, but definitely creepy.

It depends on your age. If you're 14 and you're having sex with someone who is your age, that's not paedophilia, though it is illegal. If you're 13 and you're having sex with someone older than 20, that is illegal, it is sexual abuse and the person over 20 will have to sign the sex offender's register and will screw their life up. Even if it is consented.
