 If he's giving you little kisses, hugs and shoulder rubs, I'd say that the he's giving you the hints LOUD AND CLEAR!! It sounds to me like he's interested... make your move, girlfriend!

 i did the exact same thing to show my girlfried that i wanted to date her, take this as a sign that he LIKES you and wants to date you talk to him and take a risk.
