He did. So we met there and talked for 3 hours... at the end of the night he gave me a hug and kissed me on the cheek... I told him a few weeks ago that I like him... so he knows I like him.... but he said "im not there"... so what does this kiss on the cheek mean? Anything?

" A kiss on the hand may be quite continental "....and a kiss on the cheek too. It means nothing, it's just a silly habit imported from Europe to confuse girls like you :).
You should see here. This summer I have been away one month and when I came back I was kissed at the coffee shop, the dry cleaners, the beauty salon, the chemist. My neighbours kissed me,my landlord kissed me, I think that a group of Japanese tourists passing by may have observed the kissing frenzy and tried to join in.
While it would be flattering to think that my personal charme has made such a deep impact on the whole neighborhood,...I am positive it isn'so.

It depends on the culture, but given that you are an American in the 21st century, and that you are probably not Amish, Orthodox Jewish, or Eskimo, the kiss on the cheek is just a polite way of saying hello and goodbye to the opposite sex. Although I know you want it to mean more, you can't determine anything from this action here.
