teachers can't like pupils and even though you can like a teacher, you can't do anything about it otherwise you might get him into trouble. He knows the rules, hes just trying to educate you

There are no hints. He's a teacher. So if there is any hint, then he's a paedophile.

You wouldn't happen to be the young lady who has the massive school girl crush on her 45 year old former science teacher, would you?

There are no hints - being a teacher is a career, and if a teacher behaves innapropriately towards a child then he or she will lose their job, simple as that.
However if a teacher is flirting with you, say touching you frequently, giving you speical attention and making special allowances for you, talking to you innapropriately etc then you should report it right away to a more senior teacher. It is very serious what you are talking about here - it is not just a bit of fun. If a teacher is acting out of line around you then this needs to be reported, they may be doing this with other kids and your safety is at risk.
A good teacher would never "like" a student, they are in a position of responsibility and they must take that very seriously. They cannot be seen to be abusing their power, as kids your age tend to look up to teachers, you may need advice from them, they should be there to help not prey on young teenagers.
So please, if a teacher is flirting with you then report it ASAP - this is not right and there is a chance your safety is at risk. However if this is just a little fantasy of yours where you think your teacher might want a relationship with you then just leave it alone, student teacher relationships dont work in a romantic sense and I'm sure at your age it is just a little crush that will go away in time.
I hope this helps and good luck!
