writes:hiya...I've been going out with my boyfriend for 6months now after a long time being good mates , but we havent even hugged/kissed once, With his X he hugged her all the time, i don't understand why he wont, i admit that im to shy to make the first move as the thought that i will get rejected...i recently found out that he kissed one of his girl mates the other day ans he huggs her infront of me...Am i stupid still going out with him?? or am i just a bit jealous?

I think the only way you are going to resolve this problem is to discuss it with your boy friend,when i was sixteen if i had a girl for a few weeks, i used to hug and kiss her all the time, because that is how much i adored her,i cannot guess why he is not hug and kissing you, you better ask him why, you dont want to spend another six months with him if he only see you as his best mate.

 could it be that he still sees you as a good friend and not want to spoil that. talk to him and find out why.
As for hugging another girl in front of you my fiance does it all the time to me she hugs loads of diffrent people then shrugs me off when i go to hug her she just isnt into proper public displays of affection. yes he hugged his X but was that more her than him?
You need to find out one way or the other tho as you dont want to be stuck in a relationship your not happy with.
