I think it would be much easier for her to learn English than visa versa however I guess I am a bit bias!!

If you have an iPhone it has a translator app on it but that's going to take some time..I would do Rosetta Stone if she is worth the $ spent, or see if your local college or university offers Chinese as a course. Honestly, I hear English is the hardest language to learn because of all our grammar rules. It also stands out on your resume if you can speak another language.

means i love you. If you understand your love enough, you will try to sacrifice to spend your time to learn another language.Best luck for your love.Love Beyond Frontier…

Immerse yourself in the culture and learn the language. I know a lot of Mandarin because I listened to a lot of Chinese music and tv shows on youtube :p Look up Jay Chou vids they come with translations and some of his songs are very romantic :) She should do the same...Rosetta Stone rocks!

It hurts because we dont even live in the same country ( although i'm thinking of doing a foreign exchange in Spain so that i can learn the language and learn about the culture, e.t.c ) , and we cant speak each others languages very well. My brother has a villa there so i have seen this guy when i have stayed there. I dont get to go to Spain on holiday very often though. He also likes me, and we kissed last time i saw him ( but nothing else happened ). I havent seen him for quite a long time, but i really want to go back there !.

I'd say you've got a problem. Either you need to take a crash course in Chinese, or she'd better take a course in English. I dated a Japanese man for 9 years, and he spoke English well after having a private tutor, but there will still alot of misunderstandings because of the language barrier. Start studying! Get books, cd's, cassette tapes, take private lessons, anything to help you learn. Rosetta Stone learning is supposed to be good, but its rather expensive. Good luck!

lol I'm in love with an American guy but I'm Thai. He doesn't speak Thai so I learn English for him. If you love that Chinese girl you have to learn her language!
