amity_dream is verified as being by the original poster of the questionHi...Gifted a wool scarf to my boyfriend.
He loved it.He never bought a scarf for himself. That's the reason why I wanted to gift it to him.Wanted him to try something new but I was a bit anxious if he wouldn't like it.Some guys hate scarves. But he loved it.He even wore it today.
I thought a wool scarf was romantic and it would protect him from cold weather.
Thank you all.Whatever you have written is so true.I appreciate it.God bless you all.

Just my two cents.

Yeah, it really does depend on your guy. If he loves clothes and he wants to look like he stepped out of fashion magazine and lives in a cold climate, then a wool scarf is something he probably won't buy for himself.
That said, I think the best gift for a man is something he really needs and wants. Ask him what he has been wishing for lately and buy that if it is in your price range.
Clothing is an intimate gift, so I am assuming the man in question is your boyfriend or father?

Depends on your boyfriend. If he's into fashion, or spends a lot of time outside, then it's a good gift.

Depends on the man, if he is down and dirty action man then I would think a woolen scarf, if he is more reserved well groomed and likes wearing suits the silk.
you should be able to tell by the type of clothes he wears .. ie just like a woman, what will it go with in his wardrobe.
Sorry its not much help, I have woolen and silk depending on what I am doing.
