When the questions are coming into your head, and they're destined to be answered. Maybe a young shy girl who may have had a bit of reality, can try to give you a helpful hypothesis. So why does our planet revolve around the center of Drugs, Crime, and Sex.. As it ponders into our minds. These tremendous high percentages occuring in this century is concerning. If you'd just listen, and realize how terrible it is, than maybe no one would have to worry. If these were eliminated, the pressure would be lifted off of our shoulders. But first and foremost, what leads to these subjects? Just out of assumption, they are most likely linked to Abuse.. If it's either by getting made fun of by classmates, being verbally abused in your house, or physically. This is serious, and needs to be stopped. The effects of a person who is having problems like these may drive them directly to Marijuana which is the beginning step. Second step is Cocaine. Final step is Heroine. Which eventually causes death. And that is if it gets out of hand, people who are addicted to drugs usually have a slight form of depression. As you may know, drugs involve drug dealers.. Broadcasted on news plenty of times, there have been numerous deaths because of drugs. Which is the next topic, crime. Now crime is illegal, just like drugs, but just like people who do drugs. Those doing the terrible acts, are also in subject to abuse. They may have started off by being abused, and they were hurt from it.. So they thought that they'd pay people back by murdering them, or becoming a drug dealer. Results in this include: Going to jail, if not prison. For a long period of time. As crazy as it is possible, they could kill somebody just for money, and some people would be heartless to do so, the world does involve money alot though. Which is a prime issue, this causes people to do desperate jobs, or leaving many homeless, and living at shelters. Others, mostly referred to most young teenage girls, who want attention, usually flaunt their body parts that they'd think would give them enough attention... It does, but in all the wrong ways. Unfortunatley, they end up having sex at an early age, and they end up regreting it, but this is just for popularity and to have people remember their name.

Just listen to me when I tell you, there are alot more ways that don't involve any of these that can get you what you want. These aren't the answer. Just stay true to yourself, be yourself, and most importantly love yourself. Never let anyone put you down. Drugs wont help you no matter what, you may think it does but all it does is kill your body cells, the good ones. If you are doing drugs, just read this and let this convince you, no forcing. If you want a healthier, and longer life span than quiting is the best option. Crime is horrible, as you have seen earlier it doesn't do anything. All it does is put your life in risk, you could be executed if the act you commited was dangerous/ bad enough. Take your time making up decisions, and don't rush no one is rushing you to do anything you don't want to do. Going to prison if you murdered someone your bet would be 25+ years in prison if not than a life sentencing. Develop better coping for everything. Please don't consider having sex at a young age, wait til you find the right person, don't give yourself to someone who doesn't deserve it. This goes for anyone, anyone at all. I want to reach out. Even if you don't read it all, if you read a brief amount than that still means something. As long as it helps you, which I hope it does. What has this world come to? Can we end this? We can if we work together, and at least give it a try. Don't give up, never give up.. If you give up easily then you'll never achieve anything you'd want to. So take a stand and don't let any of these things distract you, or lead you in a different direction. Go on the right path, the path to a magnificent life.

Jmtmj agony auntI think it’s fair to assume that the views that you have right now are constructed largely from news broadcasts, school and parent teachings rather than first-hand experience. Its reality sure, but it’s a very controlled reality, very black and white... very idealistic instead of realistic. I probably would have agreed with everything you’ve said at your age, but the real world is not just black and white- it isn’t even just shades of grey... it’s a rainbow of different colours and shades. “Virtue never tested is no virtue at all” is the quote that springs to mind after reading this.

Yes, indeed. You see a lot more than folks much older than you do. I remember when I was at your age, I already started thinking about serious issues such as death. I was kind of a melancholic youth. I read a lot of Charles Dickens (in the original, not abridged versions)--and even Goethe's The Sorrows of Young Werther.

The world needs more young women and men like you, who dare to think for themselves, "far from the madding crowd"--to borrow from Thomas Hardy's famous novel.

Hi. Everything you said is true. It's very insightful, especially for someone so young as you.

You see so much more, than a lot of people much older than you can't.

@yaytenacles. I wasn't asking a question, if I was than it would be clearly in the question section. I was simply writing down what I felt.

A female reader, Dorothy Dix Australia +, writes (17 October 2010):

Hi there. There are a lot of troubled people in this world, that's for sure.

And yes, there are many desperate people in it as well.

It all stems from not having a sense of purpose in your life.

Also what makes people unhappy, is a feeling of being on a treadmill - going nowhere.

Life can become so very busy, that we forget to leave time for ourselves just to have fun.

That leaves an imbalance in life. A feeling of all work and no play.

When people feel this way, they do become desperate, especially as the years go by and there is a sense of time running out. A sense of our own mortality, and of dreams not coming true.

We need to do all the things we have to do, but enough of the things we want to do. Then and only then, do we have balance.

Once a good balance is gained, then happiness and peace prevail. That's a great way to live. All the money in the world can't buy it either.
