I think probably I am having elastic hymen. Whenever my husband try to penetrate, I'll be having terrible pain. At few occasions, I've even tried to bear the pain but it just doesn't happen. We tried with lubricants but still it failed. I've never used tampon in my life and my menstrual cycles are normal. Is there anything I can do about this? Please help me as I really love to have baby.

if your doctor diaganoised it then she can prescribe the dilator kits...perhaps insurance will cover them..

nisha_ab2003 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionHi friends,
Thanks for all your support, I visited a gynae (first time in my life), and she said that I'm perfectly fine. I have a normal vagina with normal hymen. My problem was I'm having Vaginismus. A condition whereby i'll be having involuntary pelvic muscle contraction during penetration. I've checked online for the vaginismus's treatment kit, but they are all so expensive. Anyone out there who can help me with this?

See your gyno. I was a virgin and 20 when I got married and my husband could not penetrate me. I was so nervous I was squeezing my pelvic muscles so tight, he couldn't penetrate. Seeing your doctor will confirm there are no other physical problems if this is the case.
Also, if it is due to you tensing your muscles (Kegals), try you on top. It gives you the control over how fast the penetration is. Practice relaxing and tightening your Kegal muscles so you will have better control in the bedroom.
Good Luck

Do not try to "break through", you could get badly hurt if you do. See the doctor.
See the doctor and make sure the doctor looks in your vagina.

It's probably to do with you being nervous and thinking about it too much, this then causes your pelvic muscels to tighten and this makes penetration very hard. You need to really relax before you even try and have penetrative sex. Talking to a doctor will help, as i no they can offer to give you these little medical things that you insert to train and relaz your vaginal muscels. Talk to the doc!

I agree with the female anon. You should see your doctor just in case there is something wrong, but most likely you will need to have your hymen professionally cut. It's rare, but it does happen to women.

I went and saw a doctor and they examined me, said there was nothing physically wrong with me, just said I was too tense, and thought the problem might be psycological so they referred me to a sex therapist but I decided not to go. Instead, I took a few straight shots of everclear which knocked me out cold and my husband just got it over with if you know what I mean. I'm not saying you have to do this, but it worked for me.
