Thing is thugh, we've been going for coffee together for the last fortnight, and always chat on msn so we already know each other a fair bit - we go to the same uni and study the same course. Because we already kinda know each other, what is and isn't appropriate for first date? Give me some tips! We're going to an exhibition and then for some food. xx

Best advice i can offer you is, just be yourself.
If you both already know quite a bit about one another then you wont have to do the awkward small-talk part, so just be yourselves, have a good time, talk about anything and everything, and just enjoy one anothers company.
Hopefully all will go well for you, keep me posted :D

hiyah, well to start with you chose good places to go, food is always a good start but the exhibition idea is more personal so good start! people go on about rules and tips for the first date and ive even read books on it! but to be honest i think its more about the two people there and how they feel. like if you want to go further then go further! just cuz the rules state it must be the 5th date before you 'embrace' each other doesnt mean you sit counting down the next four! youll feel in the moment whats to come and youll both go with the flow. as long as your comfortable and hes comfortable go with it! enjoy it! best of luck hope it goes good! xxx
