Then, she suddenly says to me that "she wants to have an abortion with me". She's somewhat flirty, from what I see. I don't know what to think about this. Help! What do you think she means with this? ...

'We could have the cutest little abortion together' is silly goth talk, and she probably doesn't mean she wants to have an abortion with you in the literal sense. She probably used that phrase to you could tell she was joking when she flirted with you.

Your answers confirm what I thought about her, and also suggest that my guess about why she behaves like this may be correct. Definitely she's not "relationship material": she seems too unstable and, yes, morbid, for that. She's here on an assignment and I will not see her again after she leaves. I wanted the input of WOMEN because I needed to be sure what she might mean - sometimes we men take things out of context. My guess is that something terrible happened to her in the past, and she has not got over that. Once, she mentioned that she wanted to adopt a child. I asked her why she wanted an abortion if she wanted a child. All she could do was stare at the floor and say "You have a point".
Your comments were extremely valuable and helpful. Thank you, mesdames.

She's being silly, and while she probably finds you cute, she's not relationship material. Since you work with her you have the right to ask her to stop the sex talk.

Hi there,
Well, this girl sounds a little bizarre. Some girls are a little more brash than others. She seems the type who thinks that cheap pick up lines are funny. If that's just not your sense of humor, she's probably not exactly your "type".
I'll tell you this much though, sweetness... you're definitely being hit on!
