 Yes. If you know she likes you then ask her straight out if you can have her number. If you're not sure how she feels about you then ask if you can have her number just in case you ever need to get in touch about something work related. Then maybe send her the odd text to tell her you're struggling with an assignment and work up as much of a friendship with her as possible. If you're chatting more in a social sense than just within the social rules of the classroom then a friendship and maybe more will quickly develop.

hey i have two things which might work or might not. first u could do a two in one thing. start a casual conversation and then say sumthing like oh have you seen such and such at the cinema yet? it looks really funny, maybe we could watch it this weekend. if she says yes and she seems like shes interested then say oh do u want my number so we can arrange it? then hopefully she will give your yours. do not go on to talk about your fone number if she seems uncomfortable. another thing you could do is pretend you need to go and say summing like oh listen why dont i phone you tonight so i can tel you the rest? whats ur number? hope this helps. ellie xxx
