Be sure to read the instructions that came with your tampon box. Feel free to email or call us at 1-877-475-2983/[email address blocked] so we can provide more information. You can also go to www.playtexinfo.com/sport for a free Playtex Sport sample! All the best, Rachel, for Playtex Sport.”

Well I would recommend tampax pearl as I have found using them much easier to use than any other. What I would do first is lie down on your back and take slow, deep breaths to relax a little and then push it in very gently. It will only hurt a little at first but once it is in far enough you will barely feel it anymore. The first time you wear them you do feel a slight discomfort but after a couple of days they really are barely noticable.
Remember though if you try using them before your period use some kind of lubrication as the blood itself acts as a lube.

Coat it really well, then squat, take a deep breath and push it in! It can be scary, but it shouldn't feel uncomfortable with lots of lube on it. If it still doesn't work, a trip to the doctor, gynaecologist or community nurse would help. Good luck! :)

um, lets say that it is a small hidden hole below the 'hood'. first thing's first, get the right size tampon, because.. .well lets say when i first tried, it was a little too big and i couldnt sit down for the whole day :Swhen you have the tampon, make sure that the string is completely untangled; for safetly. set yourself in a squat position, this will help loosen your muscles and give some space.when you're ready to put it in, make sure you RELAX. thinking about the pain and tension will only tense your muscles, hence not letting you insert the tampon, hence ALOT MORE PAIN. dont push it in, do it slowly, you will feel the pressure, and it might hurt a tiny bit, but it only proves you're going the right way.after that, just pull up your knickers and tuck in the string loose.on the first day, it will be uncomfortable having its presence where you dont like it, but once you start using it more often, you will be a natural. (just make sure that you change every 2 hours or so)i suggest that you start using it right away, even if not on period, so that you will feel experienced by the time of your first swimming instructor event.tell me how it goes ;)
